Frozen Chocolate-Covered Peanut Butter Banana Bites

Delicious.
I hesitate to call this a recipe - it is that easy.  I make these treats and leave them in the freezer for when I have a craving for chocolate.  The combination of peanut butter, banana, and chocolate is a classic - and there is a reason it is a classic!  It's super yummy.

One or two of these bite-size treats is enough to satisfy - and they are not that unhealthy (for a dessert).  The main ingredient is fruit, after all.  I recommend making some when you have some free time, and just keep them in a tupperware in your freezer for when desire strikes.  These are especially delicious and refreshing when it is really hot out.

Ingredients:
Ingredients.
4 bananas
1/2 cup "natural" peanut butter (meaning one without sugar in it)
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup nonfat milk

1.  Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silpas mat.
2.  Slice the bananas into bite-size pieces.

Sliced bananas.
3.  Spread some peanut butter on each banana slice.

Peanut Butter.
4.  Combine the chocolate chips and milk into a microwaveable bowl.  Heat the mixture in a microwave until melted.

Pre-Microwave.
Melted.
5.  Using a fork, dip each peanut butter and banana slice into the chocolate, making sure it is completely covered in chocolate.

Ready to dip.
Dipped.
6.  Place the coated peanut butter banana bites onto the prepared cookie sheets.

On cookie sheets.
7.  Place cookie sheets into the freezer for 3-5 hours, or until chocolate is completely hardened.  Remove from cookie sheets and store in the freezer.  Makes 30-40 bites. Enjoy!

Yum!
